The 60+ Multivitamin Formula
The Formula
Every nutrient earns its place.
The thinking behind every nutrient, dose and form we chose — and a few we deliberately left out. 22 vitamins, minerals and carotenoids, designed around what changes after 60.
Two vegetable capsules daily. Delivered monthly as a refill pouch.
Our three principles
Meaningful doses. Modern forms. The discipline to leave things out.
Meaningful doses, not token ones
If a nutrient is in Hollis, it's at a level intended to do something.
Modern, well-tolerated forms
Active B vitamins, methylated folate and B12, gentle mineral bisglycinates — not the cheapest equivalent.
The discipline to leave things out
We'd rather do fewer things properly.

The three foundations
Energy. Defence. Strength.
Energy
B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Vitamin C, B6, B12 and folate contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Defence
Vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc and selenium contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc and selenium contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Strength
Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function. Vitamin D, vitamin K, zinc and manganese contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.
Nutrient by nutrient
Why each one is here, in what form, and at what dose.
Vitamin D3 + K2 — for muscle, bones and immune function
Vitamin D is one of the most important nutrients to think about after 60, particularly in the UK where sun exposure is limited and the skin makes less with age. We pair D3 with K2, often considered together for bone health.
Forms: D3 as cholecalciferol · K2 as MK-7.
Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function, normal bones and the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.
B vitamins — for energy metabolism and daily nutritional support
The ability to absorb and convert some B vitamins — B12 in particular — can change with age, which is why we use active, readily-usable forms.
Forms: B1 thiamine HCl · B2 riboflavin · B3 nicotinamide · B5 calcium pantothenate · B6 P5P · Folate 5-MTHF · B12 methylcobalamin · Biotin D-biotin.
B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Vitamin B6, B12 and folate contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Several B vitamins contribute to normal nervous system function.
Vitamin C + E — for immune function and cell protection
Two everyday antioxidants, in considered forms.
Forms: C as calcium ascorbate · E as natural d-alpha tocopherol + mixed tocopherols.
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin C and E contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin C also contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones, cartilage, skin and blood vessels.
Zinc + Selenium — for immune function and oxidative stress protection
Trace minerals with clear, well-established roles in a thoughtful daily multivitamin.
Forms: Zinc bisglycinate · Selenium L-selenomethionine.
Zinc and selenium contribute to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Zinc also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and to normal cognitive function.
Iodine — for energy metabolism and cognitive function
Included as part of the trace mineral profile.
Form: Potassium iodide.
Iodine contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal cognitive function, and the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function.
Copper, Manganese, Boron + Molybdenum — trace minerals, included deliberately
Not headline nutrients, but part of a rounded daily formula.
Forms: Copper bisglycinate · Manganese bisglycinate · Molybdenum. Boron listed factually — no health claim.
Copper contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal immune function and the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Manganese contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Molybdenum contributes to normal sulphur amino acid metabolism.
Vitamin A — for immune function and normal vision
From mixed carotenoids, beta-carotene dominant — a gentler approach than high-dose retinol.
Form: Mixed carotenoids, beta-carotene dominant.
Vitamin A contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the maintenance of normal vision.
Lutein + Zeaxanthin — carotenoids in the daily formula
Carotenoids naturally concentrated in the eye and found in certain colourful foods.
Included factually — no health claim is made for lutein or zeaxanthin.
On purpose
No iron. No token magnesium or calcium. No megadoses. No trend-led extras.
No iron — on purpose
Most adults over 60 don't need supplemental iron, and taking it without a tested need isn't recommended. If you've been told you need iron, that's a conversation for you and your doctor — not a default we'd build in for everyone.
No token magnesium or calcium
Useful only at doses that won't fit meaningfully into two capsules without real bulk. A token amount would be there for the label, not for you.
No megadoses
More isn't better past the point your body can use it.
No trend-led extras
No herbal "proprietary blends," no stimulant-style ingredients, no fashionable actives.
Forms & quality
The forms matter as much as the nutrients.
Active B vitamins (P5P, riboflavin, nicotinamide) · methylated folate (5-MTHF) and methylcobalamin (B12) · vitamin D3 with K2 as MK-7 · mineral bisglycinates (zinc, copper, manganese) · L-selenomethionine selenium · natural-source vitamin E.
Made in the UK. Manufactured in GMP-certified facilities.
